About the Position: The Office of the Advocate General for Karnataka is seeking applications for the role of Clerk-cum-Research Assistant. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification: Law graduates from the batches of 2023 and 2024.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Duration: The position is for a duration of 1 year, effective from the date of joining or termination of service from the office, whichever occurs earlier.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting legal research on various cases and issues.
  • Assisting in drafting legal documents and reports.
  • Supporting senior litigators in case preparation and strategy.
  • Engaging in administrative tasks as required.

Location:

Office of the Advocate General, High Court of Karnataka Building, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Physical presence at the office is mandatory.

Salary:

  • Honorarium: Rs. 25,000/- per month (subject to statutory deductions).
