LEGAL MAXIMS Starting with ‘S’

  • Salus populi est suprema lex – The safety of the people is the supreme law.
  • Sans recours – With no recourse.
  • Sciens – Knowingly.

  • Scire facias – That you cause to know.
  • Scribere est agere – To write is to act.
