A blast in the Ludhiana Court Complex, killing two people and injuring several others.

Today, a bomb went off on the third floor of the Ludhiana court complex. According to multiple media accounts, two people were killed and five others were injured in the powerful blast.

According to a report in Dainik Jagran, police have arrived on the scene and are conducting an investigation. The courthouse was severely damaged as a result of the explosion. The building has collapsed and many portions have fallen to the ground.

The police have sealed the area and fire engines are on site. The district court is near the District Commissioner’s office in the heart of Ludhiana city. There was a lawyers’ strike on Thursday and therefore, only a few people were present in the court complex at the time of the incident.

In related news, on December 9, a minor explosion occurred in the Rohini court complex in New Delhi. According to Delhi police, the explosion occurred in a laptop bag.

The incident occurred in Court No.102, which was in the middle of a hearing. The proceedings were halted shortly after the explosion. One individual was hurt and was taken to the hospital.

According to DCP Pranav Tayal, the explosion occurred in a laptop bag during a court proceeding.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, has expressed his condolences to the families of two individuals killed in a bomb at a court complex in Ludhiana, Punjab. He wished four victims who were hurt in the blast inside a bathroom on the second level of the court building a speedy recovery in a tweet.

A team of National Security Guard has been called in connection with Ludhiana District Court Complex explosion on Thursday, informed Local Police officials. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs has sought a report from Punjab on the explosion, said sources.
