Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be:

  • Members of Delhi or other States Government Higher Judicial Service (HJS),
  • Group ‘A’ Officers of the Indian Legal Service,
  • Officers from Central/State Government, UTs, PSUs, Statutory Bodies, Semi-Government Organizations, Recognised Research Institutes, Universities, etc.

Service Conditions:

  • Holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre/department
    OR
  • 5 years’ regular service in Level-12 Pay Matrix (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200) or equivalent

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate from a recognized University/Institute
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.)

Experience:

  • 9 years’ experience in Legal Department or Judicial/Quasi-Judicial capacity

OR

  • Integrated 5-year Law Degree (LL.B.)
  • 10 years’ experience in Legal Department or Judicial/Quasi-Judicial capacity

Desirable:

  • Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.)
