🎓 Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 4–7 years of relevant legal experience
- At least 3 years of in-house legal experience is preferred
- Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong academic credentials
💼 Desired Work Experience:
- Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of contracts including:
- Software license agreements
- Cloud/hosting and IT services agreements
- IP licenses
- Online advertising and marketing contracts
- Construction, property, and treasury contracts
- Structured finance and ISDA contracts
- SAAS, IAAS, PAAS contracts
- Staffing, collaboration, and development agreements
- Non-disclosure agreements, bank guarantees, etc.
- Understanding of software license compliance, including open-source software
- Familiarity with cross-border legal and compliance issues, including data protection
- Exposure to contract disputes, dispute resolution, and/or litigation is an added advantage
- Must be capable of advising senior leadership and collaborating across business and legal teams
- Involvement in template and playbook creation, and legal training programs
🤝 Responsibilities:
- Support customer engagements by working closely with cross-functional teams
- Advise on legal issues related to complex commercial transactions
- Conduct internal legal trainings
- Create standardized legal documents, playbooks, and guidance templates
