Period of Appointment:
- LRAs will be engaged on a purely short-term contractual basis.
- Initial engagement: One year from the date of taking up the assignment.
- Extension: Can be extended one year at a time, subject to concurrence of the attached Member and approval of the Engaging Authority.
- Maximum period of engagement: Three years.
- Discontinuation: The engagement can be discontinued before completion of one year with a two weeks’ notice if services are found unsatisfactory.
- LRA intending to leave within a year should give a six weeks’ prior notice through the Private Secretary of the attached Member.
- The contractual assignment does not confer any right/claim for regular appointment.
Age and Nationality:
- Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as of the last date for application submission.
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate in Law (Integrated Degree Course or 10+2+3+3 or 10+2+5 pattern) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- Passed all examinations within the duration of the law course.
- Law Degree/LLM obtained not earlier than two years from the date of advertisement.
- Candidates in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of the Three-Year Law Course after graduation can also apply.
- Candidates pursuing Post Graduate Degree in Law or other programs requiring compulsory attendance elsewhere during the expected period of engagement are not eligible.
- Must have research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of using legal databases.
- Good knowledge of Company Law with IBC and, additionally, knowledge of Competition Law.

Building), 9, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003” along with all the necessary documents on or before 07th March, 2024. The applications received after the closing date of receipt of applications or received without any of the necessary documents as mentioned in this vacancy circular or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.
