Essential Qualification and Experience
Joint Director (Legal)
- Eligibility:
- Officers from All-India Services, Central Civil Services Group ‘A,’ Indian Legal Service, Indian Company Law Service, autonomous bodies, statutory organizations, regulatory authorities, recognized Universities, academic institutions, recognized research institutes, or Judicial institutions.
- Experience/Service Requirements:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, OR
- Minimum five years of regular service in Level-11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700) pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized University.
- Experience:
- Relevant field of law, including Consumer Law.
Legal Assistant
- Eligibility:
- Officers from Central Government, State Government, Union Territory Administration, autonomous bodies, statutory organizations, or public sector undertakings.
- Experience/Service Requirements:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, OR
- Minimum six years of regular service in Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300) pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized University.
- Experience:
- Three years in the relevant field of law, including Consumer Law.
