Essential Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India
- 5–10 years post-qualification experience as:
- Practicing lawyer or legal consultant with law firms
- Law officer/legal consultant in any registered organization/Ministry/Department
- Experience must be in handling matters related to:
- Civil service rules, disciplinary rules, financial rules, arbitration rules, contract rules, etc.
- Legal cases before CATs, Tribunals, High Courts, and Supreme Court of India
- Must be registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of India in terms of the Advocates Act, 1961
