Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement recruitment and induction for JLS Fellows
- Develop the annual work plan for Fellows and support and supervise their work through the Fellowship period
- Mentor Fellows on their writing including for bi-monthly blogs and research outputs
- Plan and obtain feedback from relevant stakeholders for each Fellowship secondment
- Participate in quarterly reviews for the Fellows
- Manage the JLSF website and review and update content
- Identify civil society organisations and lawyers for JLSF secondments
- Coordinate with external experts, co-chairs and patrons of the Fellowship as well as previous Fellows on an as-needed basis
- Plan any annual Fellowship events
Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and one regional Indian language
- 5+ years of work in legal/social justice
- Strong network with civil society organisations
- Comfort working independently as well as in a team
- High level of proficiency with MS Office, internet skills and communications tools
- Masters degree in any social science or professional degree program
