Gujarat National Law University invites applications for the positions of Associate Professor (Law), Assistant Professor (Law), and Professor (Law).

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Associate Professor (Law):
- A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- A master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever applicable).
- A minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/Industry.
- Minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A total research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor (Law):
- A master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever applicable) in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- Additional criteria for Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009: Regular mode Ph.D., evaluated by at least two external examiners, open Ph.D. viva voce, two research papers (one in a refereed journal), and at least two conference/seminar presentations based on Ph.D. work.
Professor (Law):
- An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline and published work of high quality with at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- At least 10 years of teaching experience in University/College as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, or research experience at equivalent level at University/National Level Institutions with evidence of successful doctoral guidance.
- Alternatively, an outstanding professional with a Ph.D. degree in relevant disciplines from academic institutions/industry, having made significant contributions to the field, with 10 years of experience.
