Essential Qualification and Experience
- A Postgraduate Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic records.
- Candidates must fulfill any of the following experience criteria:
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs. 7,000/- (or equivalent V CPC Scale) (Level 11 of Pay Matrix Rs. 68,900-1,17,200/- as per 7th CPC) and above along with experience in educational administration.
- 8 years of service in AGP of Rs. 8,000/- (or equivalent V CPC Scale) (Level 12 of Pay Matrix Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400/- as per 7th CPC) and above, including as Associate Professor, along with experience in educational administration.
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years must be as Deputy Registrar in Grade Pay 7,600 (Level 12 of Pay Matrix Rs. 78,800-2,09,200/- as per 7th CPC) or an equivalent post.
Desirable Qualifications
- Qualification in the area of Engineering, Management, or Law.
- Experience in computerized administration.
- Experience in handling Stores & Purchase, Accounts & Finance, Legal, Estate, and Establishment matters, including conducting meetings of Board of Governors, Finance Committee, Building Works Committee, Senate, etc.
- Officers under IITs/NITs/IIITs/CFIs holding an analogous position on a regular basis.
