About the Project:
The project, funded by the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICCSR) and the Ministry of Education (MoE), aims to analyze and address issues of judicial delays and mounting court arrears in India, exploring plausible solutions to improve the current system of justice dispensation.

About the Position:

  • Institution: National Law University, Delhi
  • Role: Part-time/Full-time Research Assistant
  • Duties: Engage in research activities, data compilation, analysis, writing research papers, publication, and report editing.

Eligibility:

  • Qualification: Post-graduate degree in law (LL.M. with a minimum of 55% marks)
  • Experience: Interest and experience in empirical and doctrinal research in interdisciplinary fields.
  • Age: Below 40 years at the time of appointment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate degree in law with at least 55% marks
  • Good field research skills and experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create quality content worthy of publication
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and online platforms
  • Experience in data collection, compilation, and analysis

Job Description:

  • Conduct doctrinal and empirical research on the Indian justice delivery system and Constitutional Law
  • Create content, write research papers, and manage publication tasks

Remuneration:

  • Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 25,000 per month, depending on the assignment (part-time or full-time).

Duration of the Job:

  • Initially for 3 months, with potential extension based on requirement.
  • Working hours: Monday to Saturday, dependent on the assignment.
