About the Programme: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) invites applications for its Internship Programme for September 2024. This programme aims to provide students with practical insights into the workings of competition law, preparing them for future roles in various capacities within the regulatory framework.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Open to Indian Nationals only.
- Fields: Students from recognized Institutions and Universities with exposure to Competition Law are eligible.
- Courses Eligible:
- Economics and Management: MA/MSc. (Economics), final year students of 5-year integrated degree programmes in Economics, MBA.
- Law: Second and third-year Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year course after graduation) or fourth-year of the five-year integrated course in Law, LLM.
- Regulatory Governance: MA/MSc. (Regulatory Governance).
- Professional Courses: Final group students of Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, or Company Secretary.
- Ineligibility: Students with a placement in hand are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply:
- Interested students must apply in the prescribed format available in the Annexure.
- Applications must include a recommendation from the academic institution where the candidate is enrolled.
- A ‘Statement of Purpose’ (about 200 words) outlining the topic introduction and study objectives is required.

Stipend:
- Honorarium: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Duration:
- Normally for one month, starting from the 1st working day of the month. Extensions up to 2-3 months are possible with the recommendation from the respective University/College/Institution.
