About the Organiser(s)

The Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) is a non-profit society in Kashmir committed to legal empowerment. Comprising lawyers and legal activists, YLF collectively works to spread legal awareness, offer free legal aid, conduct research, and engage in public interest litigations (PILs) in Jammu and Kashmir. YLF’s initiatives include dynamic workshops, impactful campaigns, and a commitment to legal research and pro-bono litigations.

Details about the Event/Opportunity

Litigation Secretary (2 Positions):

Project and Human Resource Management.
Legal research and drafting for impactful litigations.
Formulate formal representations on behalf of the organisation.

Legal Awareness Secretary (1 Position):

Project and Human Resource Management.
Planning and organizing legal awareness camps, workshops, and seminars.
Contribution to research projects and dissemination of legal information.

Networking Secretary (1 Position):

Project and Human Resource Management.
Drive media coverage, marketing, and public relations initiatives.
Contribute to the growth and visibility of YLF within and beyond Kashmir.

Eligibility:
3rd or 4th year student pursuing a 5-year law course or 2nd year student pursuing a 3-year law course from specified universities/colleges in Kashmir. Law graduates are also welcome to apply. Additionally, Journalism students from specified departments can apply for the position of Networking Secretary.
