Your responsibilities include

  • Advice and Counsel the personnel / businesses on application of Credit Suisse policies and procedures and of relevant Indian law/regulations
  • In addition to the above also ensure that any unforeseen data leakages, reputational impact etc. do not impact the entity
  • Perform supervisory review of work done by CoE team, ensuring alerts are called out, analyzed, and cleared accurately in a timely manner, documentation of rationale and accurate record keeping. Review regulatory and compliance aspects of CoE related initiatives
  • Build MIs for distribution to Senior Managers and Global collaborators
  • Proactively highlight compliance related issues and bring them to successful closure.
  • Assist in compliance review of issues related to the migration of processes and functions to the CS Pune
  • Assist in responding to any regulatory inquiries and hands on knowledge of SEZ/ STPI /DoT regulations are essential
  • Collaborate closely with Vendor Compliance Officers and answer their queries
  • Assistance with day-to-day legal and compliance matters, including assistance on meeting materials, administration of weekly/monthly compliance reporting, preparation of email correspondence, monitoring of compliance results, and maintenance of records
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Quarterly review of internal process and provide improvements in execution inputs
  • The profile requires good analytical skills, attention to detail, strong policy and process knowledge. The role demands regular coordination with senior management and the individual should possess excellent stakeholder leadership skills and challenging status Quo. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information, financial documents, records and personal matters

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual with the following qualifications

  • University degree/ Master Degree
  • At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in related activities in bank/ securities market industry
  • Very good understanding of the complexity of financial products/ banking industry and its regulatory environment
  • Analytical, attention to details, be able to spot and document irregular trends and patterns
  • Methodical and detailed in documentation and follow through on issues and cases
  • Strong Influencing, Communication and Stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
