Research Law Assistant Vacancy At High Court, Madras
The High Court of Madras has invited applications for the engagement of Research Law Assistants to the Hon’ble Judges of the Madras High Court, both at the Principal Seat at Madras and the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, Madurai. The engagement is purely ad hoc in nature and will initially be for a period of one year. This opportunity is particularly significant for young law graduates aspiring to gain first-hand experience in constitutional courts and judicial research.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility
Candidates must be Graduates in Law under any of the recognised patterns such as 10+2+3+3, 10+2+5, 10+2+4+3, or any other recognised pattern as decided by the Selection Committee. The law degree must be obtained from a University recognised in the Indian Union and should be recognised by the Bar Council of India for admission as an Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court.
Only those candidates who have obtained their Law Degree not earlier than five years as on the date of notification are eligible to apply. Candidates who are pursuing postgraduate degrees in law or any other degree or programme requiring compulsory attendance elsewhere are not eligible for this assignment.
