National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant for the IPR Chair.

About NLUD:

Established in 2008 by the Government of India with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi, NLUD is a premier Law University in India. It offers integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programs, aiming to prepare lawyers for a wide range of opportunities in the legal profession globally.

About the Opportunity:

NLUD seeks to engage a full-time Research Assistant for the Chair on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR Chair) on a contractual basis. The position is initially for one year, extendable based on performance and needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research activities for the IPR Chair, including fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and report drafting.
  • Supervising student researchers/interns and assisting principal investigators.
  • Liaising with the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property & Competition (CIIPC) for joint activities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D. in Law with a demonstrable interest in interdisciplinary research in intellectual property.
  • Graduates from NLUD or other research fellows working at NLUD may also apply.

Salary:

  • LL.B.: Rs. 30,000 per month
  • LL.M.: Rs. 40,000 per month
  • Ph.D.: Rs. 50,000 per month
