Research Assistant (Law), IPR Chair at NLU Delhi

National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant for the IPR Chair.

Established in 2008 by the Government of India with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi, NLUD is a premier Law University in India. It offers integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programs, aiming to prepare lawyers for a wide range of opportunities in the legal profession globally.
About the Opportunity:
NLUD seeks to engage a full-time Research Assistant for the Chair on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR Chair) on a contractual basis. The position is initially for one year, extendable based on performance and needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conducting research activities for the IPR Chair, including fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and report drafting.
- Supervising student researchers/interns and assisting principal investigators.
- Liaising with the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property & Competition (CIIPC) for joint activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D. in Law with a demonstrable interest in interdisciplinary research in intellectual property.
- Graduates from NLUD or other research fellows working at NLUD may also apply.
Salary:
- LL.B.: Rs. 30,000 per month
- LL.M.: Rs. 40,000 per month
- Ph.D.: Rs. 50,000 per month
