The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Regional Office Indore has invited applications from eligible practicing Advocates for empanelment as Panel Advocates to represent ESIC before various courts, tribunals and judicial/quasi-judicial forums across the districts of Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India/State Bar Council and be actively practicing law.
• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University in India.
• Have a minimum of:
  • 10 years of professional experience for matters before the Hon’ble High Court and various benches of the Hon’ble CAT; and
  • 5 years of professional experience for district-level courts and other forums.
• Have a sound professional reputation and good communication skills.
• Possess adequate office infrastructure, including an accessible office/chamber, staff and communication facilities.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to Advocates having experience in:

• Labour Laws;
• Social Security Laws;
• Service Matters; and
• Allied legislations.

The applicant should be capable of representing ESIC before:

• Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh;
• Employees’ Insurance Courts;
• District and Subordinate Courts;
• Magistrate Courts;
• Labour Courts;
• Consumer Forums;
• Tribunals, including CAT; and
• Other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.

Applicants should also be well conversant with the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948, Code on Social Security, 2020, applicable Rules and Regulations, Labour Codes and other relevant laws.
