Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai invites applications for the following positions: Research Assistant (Law), Chair Professor (IPR Chair Professor), and Research Assistant (DPIIT-IPR Chair).

Essential Qualification and Experience:
Research Assistant (Law):
- Education: Undergraduate degree or master’s degree in law from a recognized university.
- Experience: 0-3 years of work experience in an academic or professional setting with demonstrable evidence of research and writing ability (sole-authored writing sample required).
- Skills: Analytical, collation, communication (written and oral), technical, and time-management skills.
- Additional: Self-driven, collaborative, able to work independently, attention to detail, data-driven, proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, Google Documents, and Google Sheets.
Chair Professor (IPR Chair Professor):
- Profile: An academic/scholar of outstanding track record in IPR and aligned area of studies.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in relevant area.
- Experience: Retired officials of IP Offices under CGPDTM with 5 years of experience working at GP ₹ 6600/- or above as Controller of Patent & Design, Registrar of Trademark & Geographical Indications, or Registrar of Copyrights. Alternatively, an outstanding professional with an established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge in the field (substantiated by credentials), with teaching or industry experience of 10 years in a reputed organization.
Research Assistant (DPIIT-IPR Chair):
- Education: Master’s degree in law or LL.B. degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of latest national and international research trends and developments in relevant area.
- Skills: Ability to conceptualize and organize international training workshops and brainstorming online/on-site discussions apart from teaching/research. Fluency in English language and proficiency in using computers is a must.
