- Loan Origination.

- Security creation and ancillary transaction documents.
Legal Advisory
- Providing legal opinions and strategic advice to business teams for structuring and closing lending transactions.
- Supporting business teams in achieving compliance while facilitating business growth.
Research & Regulatory Updates
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting:
- Real Estate Finance.
- Construction Funding.
- Banking and Financial Services.
- Researching important judicial precedents and advising stakeholders on their impact.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
- Conducting legal training sessions for front-end and back-end business teams.
- Responding to legal queries raised by internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Performing periodic legal reviews of live and disbursed loan accounts.
- Identifying legal deficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensuring documentation complies with applicable laws and internal policies.
Liaison with External Counsel
- Coordinating with external law firms regarding:
- Transaction structuring.
- Legal due diligence.
- Documentation.
- Legal opinions.
- Litigation support, wherever required.
