Essential Qualification and Experience:
Assistant Professor in Laws (LL.B. – 3 Years)
- Master’s degree in Law with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an Indian or accredited foreign University.
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. (exempting NET as per UGC Regulations, 2009/2016).
- Candidates registered for Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 must meet additional conditions (regular mode, external evaluation, viva voce, publications, and conference presentations).
- OR Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the Top 500 (QS/THE/ARWU).
Assistant Professor in B.A. LL.B. (5 Years Laws)
- Same eligibility criteria as above (Master’s in Law + NET/SET/SLET/Ph.D. exemptions).
- Ph.D. foreign degree option also applicable.
Assistant Professor in LL.M.
- Master’s degree in Law with 50% marks (or equivalent grade).
- NET/SLET/SET mandatory unless exempted through Ph.D. (UGC norms).
- Ph.D. from foreign university ranked among Top 500 globally (QS/THE/ARWU) acceptable.
