Essential Qualification and Experience
Candidates must fulfil the prescribed qualification and experience requirements.
For Retired Government Employees
A retired employee from the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory Administration, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) or Research Organizations can apply if the candidate:
- Has served as a Section Officer at Pay Level-7 of the 7th CPC or above;
- Has previous experience in dealing with legal matters; and
- Has a comprehensive understanding of Government rules and regulations.
For Private Sector Professionals
Alternatively, an individual with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a reputed private sector organization may apply.
The candidate should have demonstrated experience in:
- Handling legal matters;
- Providing legal opinions;
- Litigation management;
- Coordinating with advocates;
- Monitoring court cases; and
- Understanding Government rules and regulations.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized university or equivalent.
The applicant must also have proficiency in MS Office and related computer applications.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the post is 65 years.
