Essential Qualification and Experience
Candidates should possess a graduate or postgraduate degree, or an LL.B. degree, along with the desired professional experience and skills.
The key requirements include:
- 10–12 years of relevant experience.
- Good legal drafting skills.
- Strong knowledge of banking, financial and corporate laws.

Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Drafting and vetting legal documents for the financing of real estate projects, including loan origination, acquisition of loans from other lenders and ancillary transactions.
- Providing legal advice, opinions and support to business teams to facilitate lending transactions.
- Researching and analysing laws, policies and important judicial decisions concerning real estate and construction funding by financial institutions.
- Updating stakeholders on legal developments affecting documentation and business operations.
- Conducting legal training for front-end and back-end teams.
- Handling and responding to legal queries.
- Reviewing live and disbursed loan cases periodically to identify and rectify legal deficiencies.
- Coordinating with law firms regarding transaction origination, legal structures and documentation requirements.
