The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited applications from eligible practicing Advocates for empanelment as Panel Advocates to represent ESIC before various courts, tribunals and judicial/quasi-judicial forums across all districts of Uttarakhand.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

• Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India/State Bar Council and be actively practicing law.
• Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University in India.
• For matters before the Hon’ble High Court and various benches of CAT, applicants should have at least 10 years of professional experience.
• For district-level courts and other forums, applicants should have at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Have a sound professional reputation and good communication skills.
• Possess adequate office infrastructure, including an accessible office/chamber, staff and communication facilities.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to Advocates having experience in:

• Labour Laws;
• Social Security Laws;
• Service Matters; and
• Allied legislations.

Applicants should be capable of representing ESIC before:

• High Court;
• Employees’ Insurance Courts;
• District and Subordinate Courts;
• Magistrate Courts;
• Labour Courts;
• Consumer Forums;
• Tribunals, including CAT; and
• Other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.

Candidates should also be well conversant with the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948, Code on Social Security, 2020, applicable Rules and Regulations, Labour Codes and other relevant laws.
