Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Graduate Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University or Institution.
Experience Required
Applicants should have any one of the following litigation experience:
- Minimum 5 years of practice before a Sessions Court, or
- Minimum 3 years of practice before a High Court, or
- Minimum 2 years of practice before the Supreme Court of India.
Desirable Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Domain knowledge of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
- Strong understanding of criminal laws and legal procedures.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Ministry of External Affairs. Shortlisted candidates may be called for further assessment/interview as per the Ministry’s recruitment process.
