“Mourning” is a surprise single by Spiritbox, released on September 8, 2026, just ten hours after the band announced it. The standalone track arrived alongside an official music video, co-directed by guitarist Mike Stringer, which takes a noticeably different visual approach from the band’s previous black-and-white videos. “Mourning” marks Spiritbox’s first new release since their second studio album, Tsunami Sea. The song was released only days before the band embarked on their 2026 UK and European arena tour with Jinjer and Dying Wish, which began in the UK on September 12, 2026, before continuing across mainland Europe.
