Essential Qualification and Experience
Member Technical Staff- E-V (Scientist ‘F’)
For Direct Recruitment:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology with 1st class in Electronics/Electricals/Electronics & Communications/Telecommunications/Computer Science/Information Technology;
- OR Master’s in Computer Applications or M.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/Applied Electronics/Information Technology with 1st class and 17 years’ experience.
- OR Master’s in Technology/Engineering with 1st class in relevant fields and 15 years’ experience.
- OR Ph.D. in Science/Engineering with 12 years’ experience.
- Candidates with MBA/Degree in Law will get two years’ relaxation in experience.
For Absorption/Deputation:
- Officers from Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies with:
- Analogous post on a regular basis, OR
- 5 years of regular service in Level 13 (₹1,23,100–₹2,15,900).
Member Technical Staff- E-IV (Scientist ‘E’)
For Direct Recruitment:
- Education:
- Similar qualifications as Scientist ‘F,’ but with 14 years’ experience for Bachelor’s/Master’s and 9 years’ experience for Ph.D.
For Absorption/Deputation:
- Officers from Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies with:
- Analogous post on a regular basis, OR
- 5 years of regular service in Level 12 (₹78,800–₹2,09,200).
Member Technical Staff- E-II (Scientist ‘C’)
For Direct Recruitment:
- Education:
- Similar qualifications as Scientist ‘F,’ but with 6 years’ experience for Bachelor’s/Master’s and 1 year of experience for Ph.D.
For Absorption/Deputation:
- Officers from Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies with:
- Analogous post on a regular basis, OR
- 5 years of regular service in Level 10 (₹56,100–₹1,77,500).
