Job Description:
To ensure that all agreements and contracts are in order, maintain all original legal documents and ensure all requirements of the various Acts are met.
- Draft agreements required on a daily basis like housekeeping, security, gift wrapping, institutional sales, marketing agreements, concessionaire, conducting agreements, project agreements NDAs, etc.
- Register trademarks and copyrights as per the legal requirements.
- Ensure that all the documents sent for signing to any outside party are filed back with the company.
- Review the licenses prepared by the administration department for the new stores.
- Maintain the original documents of all the contracts and agreements for the purpose of audits.
- Reviewing the documents prepared by the subordinate or any legal document sent by any department or outside party. Ensuring that they are legally sound.
- To make sure that the company does not get into any legal problem due to contracts signed or any activity undertaken by it.
- Ensure that the relevant department is made aware of the legal implications of their actions and constant liaising with departments to ensure that the legal aspects are being complied with.
- Internally deal with Finance, Administration, Marketing, B&M, Institutional sales, Projects, HR
- deal with Vendors, auditors, contractors
- Maintain high level of accuracy in all the assigned work.
