The Deendayal Port Trust (formerly known as Kandla Port Trust) is a vibrant, world-class multi-cargo Port offering services at multiple locations and having a dominant share of regional cargo by virtue of its ability to effectively leverage its locations and land resources for facilitation of growth of economic activities and investments, with the objective of developing mutually beneficial and sustainable linkages with port based industries and users, thereby, making Kandla the driver of economic growth in the region and India.
The Deendayal Port Trust invites applications from eligible and competent persons for engagement of Professional Functionaries purely on contract basis. The induction of Professional Functionaries will be at the level of Chief Manager and Manager in the following fields:
Chief Manager (ICT) 01 Post
Chief Manager (Hydraulic) 01 Post
Manager (ICT) 01 Post
Manager (Legal) 01 Post
Manager (Environment) 01 Post


Educational Qualifications & Experience: As per Annexure I attached.


Upper Age Limit: Maximum 43 years of Age for the field of Chief Manager and 40 Years for the field of Manager as on 01/06/2021.


Type of Employment: contractual.


Tenure of contract: Purely on contractual basis for a period of three years, extendable by another two years; subject to satisfactory performance of the contractual person.


Remuneration:
Rs. 1,40,000/- per month for the field of Chief Manager and
Rs. 1,00,000/- per month for the field of Manager.

Suitable increase in Remuneration depending upon the performance and variation in the AICPI index will be granted in all the above fields of Chief Manager and Manager after completion of yearly service.


Other Facilities: TA/DA will be paid as per the pay scale attached to the post. Suitable Port Accommodation will be provided, subject to availability of the Port Quarters. OPD facility at DPT hospital to the incumbent and his/her spouse will be provided.


The engagement will be purely contractual for 3 years, extendable by another 2 years depending upon the performance. The eligible internal Port officers can also be considered, subject to the condition that on their selection, their engagement shall be only on contractual basis and they will be required to resign from the Port Services. No retired officers or deputationists will be engaged for these assignments.
